DESIGN means BUSINESS | Sept. 30, 2010 @ 6pm

Want to create a revolutionary product or service? You'll need BOTH design and business.

Bob Borchers, former Senior Director of Worldwide Product Marketing at Apple for the iPhone, and current General Partner at Opus Capital, invests in companies who create well-designed experiences. On September 30th, Bob will share his perspective on what fuels the creation of revolutionary products, and some principles you can apply to your own ventures.

About Bob Borchers
Bob Borchers is a mobile and consumer marketing veteran who has been part of creating some wonderfully innovative (and occasionally successful) products and technologies. From NIKEiD custom shoes to Vertu solid gold cell phones, and from the Apple iPod to the iPhone, each product has shared in a quest to discover what makes things new. Bob is currently a General Partner at Opus Capital, a leading technology venture capital firm.

"DESIGN means BUSINESS" aims to bring design to the forefront in business as a way to create more meaningful, innovative companies.
